NH STRATHAM — Zoning Board postpones Wood addition variance, cites unresolved deed right of way. Michael Wood sought approval for an 800-square-foot side addition at his Residential Agricultural-zoned property in Tax Map 22, Lot 90, requesting a variance to reduce the required 20-foot setback to six inches. The board discovered a recorded right of way crossing the proposed addition site and identified accuracy issues with the site plan, which was not to scale and did not properly depict property lines.
Member Lucy Cushman noted that the deed language prohibited construction within the right of way. The board voted to continue the case to the next scheduled meeting, suggesting Wood explore adding to the rear of the house instead.
