NH STRATHAM — Stratham Energy Commission plans Community Power strategy recommendation. The Commission plans to recommend both short and long term strategies to the Select Board to address Community Power of New Hampshire pricing pressures, which include increased ISO-NE charges, rising natural gas costs, and state renewable energy mandates. CPCNH is rebuilding reserves over two years and will likely exceed the Unitil default rate in the short term but expects to become more competitive as initiatives are implemented.
The Commission also updated the Town website with supplier comparison resources and is exploring options for municipal solar renewable energy certificate tracking.
