NH STRATHAM — Stratham Library appoints alternate trustee, launches strategic planning. The Wiggin Memorial Library trustees voted unanimously to offer Jenny Hinson the alternate trustee position and to create a strategic planning steering committee with two trustees and two staff members working with a consultant. The planning process kicks off in March with October 2026 completion target.
Library Director Steve Butzel reported strong 2025 growth: circulation of physical materials increased 7.2 percent, OverDrive checkouts rose 4.3 percent, and Hoopla usage jumped 17.4 percent; the library held 53 virtual programs with over 750 attendees, exceeding the annual goal.
