NH STRATHAM — Stratham Planning Board approves 16-by-40-foot residential swimming pool despite wetland proximity concerns. Thomas House, chair of the Planning Board, led the Board in unanimously approving a conditional use permit for the pool at 11 Treat Farm Road, despite the project's location within a protected 50-foot wetland setback. The Board determined the project is essential to productive use of the land and that no feasible alternative exists given the property's layout and existing structures.
The approval includes four conditions requiring professional surveying, grading plans, and site restoration.
