NH STRATHAM — Stratham Recreation Commission heard operational updates on summer camps and programming at its June meeting. Parks and Recreation Director Seth Hickey reported that the department's intern position ended in May and the Kingdom trails trip was cancelled. The commission reviewed summer camp operations, with a director hired and staff recruitment underway, and selected a storage shed at approximately $2000 for a school facility.
Senior programming budget development proceeded; the commission discussed fee-based options while maintaining the Bone Builders program, free on a donation basis for roughly 12 years. A public master planning forum for Stratham Heritage Park was scheduled for June 11, facilitated by the Rockingham Commission.
