NH STRATHAM — Stratham Recreation Commission approves field use requests for three youth sports groups. Jessie Hook moved to approve access to municipal fields for Exeter Junior Baseball and Softball League, Exeter Youth Soccer Association, and Athlete Factory LLC, with Allison Knab seconding; all members voted in favor. Parks and Recreation Director Seth Hickey reported senior programming is at capacity with 50 attendees at a St.

Patrick's Day event and noted that a newly approved Teen Coordinator position will support expanded youth initiatives. The board allocated a $20,000 start budget for teen programming with the goal of achieving self-sustaining status within two years, based on survey results identifying strong demand for summer and winter activities.
