NH STRATHAM — Stratham Select Board approves $25,000 environmental planning grant for riverfront site. The board unanimously authorized Town Planner Angela Price to submit a Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership grant application for environmental assessment and stewardship planning of the Town Landing. Chair Allison Knab, Vice Chair Joe Anderson, and member Tedd Tramaloni also unanimously approved two Police Chief Anthony King funding requests: up to $5,000 from the detail fund for equipment conversion and up to $1,500 from the golf fund for community engagement giveaways.
The PREP grant, which requires no town match, will fund an inventory of site conditions, shoreline evaluation, and development of a management plan for the town's only unencumbered riverfront access.
