NH STRATHAM — Select Board restricted e-bikes and limited dog walking at Stratham Hill Park. The Board voted unanimously to prohibit all classes of e-bikes and motorcycles from Stratham Hill Park and adjacent Noyes and Gifford properties, while limiting all dog walkers to two per person with leashes not to exceed 10 feet, effective October 1. Chair Allison Knab said narrow trails and existing user conflicts informed the decision, which was endorsed by the Stratham Hill Park Association and Conservation Commission.
The Board also authorized Town Administrator Tim Roache to sign a contract with KG Blood and Sons for Lane property septic system work, expected within weeks, with likely acceptance of a $50,000 Heritage Commission contribution toward the broader restoration project.
