NH STRATHAM — Stratham Conservation Commission pursues conservation easements for town woodlots. The Commission agreed to advance conservation easements for all town-owned woodlots in their natural state, a move intended to permanently protect Stratham's open space from future development. Commission member Ryan Olsen spearheaded the initiative.
The group also endorsed expanded public education around existing conservation lands, including nature-walk programs and updated conservation maps for the town website. The Commission set the annual Town Clean-up Day for Saturday April 25 from 8 a.m. to noon at Stratham Hill Park, with promotional outreach planned through local schools and social media.
