NH STRATHAM — Stratham Planning Board rejects driveway permit for proposed duplex project. The board voted 1-3 with one abstention to deny a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Brendan Sheehan to build a shared driveway through protected wetlands on Portsmouth Avenue, rejecting arguments that the project met town ordinance criteria beyond economic benefit. The applicant sought access for four new duplexes; the project would impact approximately 287 square feet of wetland.
John Kunowski, Chris Zaremba, and Tedd Tramaloni voted to deny; Jay Fraprie voted to approve; Nate Allison abstained. The hearing was continued to July 8 to allow the Conservation Commission to review revised plans and provide updated input.
