NH STRATHAM — Stratham Select Board hears park use restrictions but defers decisions. Chair Allison Knab and the Board held public hearings on proposed amendments to limit e-bikes and restrict dog walking at Stratham Hill Park, hearing residents and regional trail advocates dispute enforcement viability and raise accessibility concerns, but no votes were recorded on the ordinances themselves. In other business, the Board unanimously authorized a $4,000 tree removal at Smyk Park and a $30,000 culvert repair on Union Road from dedicated funds, and accepted a $15,800 Highway Safety Grant requiring a $3,950 matching contribution from the Police Golf Fund.

Fire Chief Jeff Denton briefed the Board on the Plaistow ALS Intercept program, noting that federal grant participation would require towns to contribute approximately $15,000 in year one, escalating to approximately $94,000 annually by year five.
